My vehicle is titled in a revocable trust. My auto insurance has me as the named insured and the trust as an additional interest. They’re saying the trust cannot be an additional insured. That sounds wrong to me. Seems to open the trust up to liability. Progressive insurance. Any ideas here?

The only kind of trust that Progressive Direct currently allows to be listed as an Additional insured is a Living Trust. If it’s not a living trust, it doesn’t qualify as an AI due to current underwriting guidelines.
