I used to own stock in Emisphere, the small biotech that invented the oral process. The promise initially for the tech was oral calcitonin but that failed. Became a penny stock but I double down. When they got bought my position was worth $$! and I put the money into NVO which then went vertical. $$$$ But this downturn (thanks to real competition) has been a real challenge to my faith. We shall see if the oral version is a game changer.

Current dose of wegovy is 2.4mg/week. Oral wegovy calls for 25mg/daily so they’ll have to produce 70x the product. With lowered prices this won’t bode well for their bottom line.
