Ryanair is run by a bunch of sociopaths so it’s nice to see them getting fined. I’m not rich enough to be able to avoid flying on them sometimes but I hope one day to never set foot on their planes again. Fuck ryanair. edit: them not then, I have a BA in econ.

Oh, ffs. This is why competition /anti trust authorities can’t be taken seriously sometimes. So many issues in so many markets by various companies, but we are gonna spend so many resources protecting… Check notes… Travel agencies. Glorified intermediaries that are increasingly less useful. This is what they waste effort on. A dying industry of market parasites.
I really hoped it was gonna be something about the rates they are able to lower from “Ryanair airports”, or the frequencies they run, or lower requirement staffing, or a Plethora of issues more important than “travel agencies can’t sell Ryanair flights”.
Like seriously, this is just lobby power to get to push this investigation instead of something that actually affects consumers and what they care about.
