    1. There was an upward revision to November’s reading. Maybe the December reading will also get revised upwards?

      The average price of unleaded gasoline in the U.S. has fallen to its lowest level since 2021. This should have a positive effect on consumer confidence.

      Millennials and Gen Z being the most economically optimistic cohorts definitely was not what I expected. I think that argues against the idea that the vibes are sour on account of social media doomophilia. Frankly I’m flummoxed

      Crazy how GDP goes up they call it a success. Unemployment goes up, consumer confidence goes down and cost of living skyrockets and none of it people point out matter a lot more than GDP

    4. According to latest BLS, the number of people who are involuntarily working part time hit 900k. Numbers you typically see in economic downturns. So this is no surprise.
