Several years ago there was a website with an interactive map that had energy use predictions as temperatures rise. Humboldt County in California on the map showed that the climate would become more preferable due to the cool ocean upwelling trapped by the mountain range. The electricity use would be one of the only climates becoming more energy efficient in the home. That coupled with a lot of raised land, means that the county will not be overwhelmed with sea level rise beyond the lowland areas. I'm trying to propose a development project there. This is part of class I'm in that talks about climate migration & how it impacts markets.

I need that future energy use map as a reference, but it's been years & i cannot locate it online. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Seeking a map to use for climate change based real estate prediction analysis.

    1. Have you tried the Climate Impact Lab’s interactive maps? They have energy demand projections that sound similar to what you’re describing. Also check out Climate Central’s tools – they’ve got some solid stuff on temperature and energy use changes

If those don’t hit, maybe try wayback machine on some of the climate research sites from like 2018-2020 when a lot of these prediction tools were getting built
