So GDP is adjusted for inflation. If inflation is under reported (many consumer categories were ignored when factoring in the most recent inflation number), this artificially inflates the price of goods leading to GDP ballooning, right? Therefore GDP calculation is artificially high. Someone smarter than me please tell me where I’m off, I’m sure I’m thinking incorrectly here.
