Since Nike released its earnings report, its stock price has continued to plummet significantly.
After Cook purchased 50,000 shares of Nike yesterday, the stock rose 2.6% in pre market trading and is now up over 5%.
Nike's price is extremely attractive. Is now the time to buy? Or should we continue to wait and see?
Cook bought 50K shares of Nike. Is now a good time to buy?

No, don’t time the market. Buy if you believe in the long term fundamentals
If everyone still says no it’s a good time to buy
Should have bought Nike in 1987
I will wait for the rest of the Mag 7 CEOs to buy shoe industry shares. Maybe shoes are the next big thing to go smart instead of glasses.
Until then I look at Nike and see tariff uncertainty.
Remember when buffet bought oxy or Sirius? How’s that working out?
He is on the Board, think it through.
He is on the board. He has to buy those shares.
You probably don’t have to.
Also, stop looking at the price of a stock as a sign of attractiveness. It is not a measure of value.
Its very risky in my view and in a big down trend. I would think carefully if you can stomach any further drops
I feel like Nike is the epitome of a “value trap”. I’m not interested in the company, so I haven’t looked into their fundamentals, but I’m not sure what could turn their stock price around. Other than what we are seeing… big names buying it and making it relevant in the news cycle. Not a good reason to buy, imo, other than a gamble move.
Nvidia H100 in every shoe confirmed?
If you have a longer time horizon to hold then yes buying here seems like an absolute bargain. Tim Cook can afford to be patient and even though he’s buying a relatively significant amount of shares I’d say he’s nibbling the edges and entering the stock maybe to buy more over time, he’s not taking a big bite and going all in
Not for me. At least not yet.
Also, why would Tim Cook be any reference for investing? He is not a professional investor or anything like Buffett.
Maybe he decided to gamble on it with 0.0001% of his personal wealth (I might be missing some zeroes).
Also he’s serving on Nike board I think. Maybe that’s what he’s supposed to do or something, for some reason.
Irrelevant noise for me.
What’s their most? Competitors have closed in. What’s one product that Nike has a massive lead in?
