I’m in Michigan and was hit head-on in a private parking lot. I was driving on the right side when another driver turned and hit the front of my car. Police report lists the other driver at fault, witnesses confirmed it, and I also have a video of them admitting fault.
Car: 2012 Toyota Corolla
Damage:
Front bumper destroyed
One headlight pushed in and broken
Front-end damage
After the crash, dashboard warning lights (check engine, blinking lights) came on, so I’m worried about internal damage
Injury:
I reported mild neck pain at the scene and it’s documented as a possible injury in the police report.
What’s a realistic repair cost range for this type of damage on an older Corolla?
Could this be totaled given the age and warning lights?
How do minor injury claims like neck pain usually work in Michigan no-fault cases?
Is it better to go through my insurance or the other driver’s?
Looking for realistic expectations so I know how to approach this. Thanks!
No-fault accident, front-end damage + minor neck pain. What should I expect?

Michigan you file property damage and injury bills through your own. through your own
Nobody can blindly quote you repair numbers w/o seeing the car. Since this is Michigan, you’d file this under your own insurance. They’d handle your car’s damages, along with your injuries being covered under your PIP coverage. You don’t file third party claims against the other party in Michigan.
