Hello,
Spring 2027 I’ll be studying abroad in Spain. I have had the Chase Freedom Rise for about 3 months with a credit score of 725. By this time next year, should I get the Venture One credit card since it has no FTFs and a zero annual fee? I thought of getting the Chase Sapphire or even Venture X but I don’t think I’ll spend enough($4-6k in 3 months) to get the bonus or qualify for it.
Would you recommend the Venture One, which I’ll probably qualify for by next year? The Chase FR has foreign transactions fees, which is the reason why I won’t be using it abroad. If you have other recommendations or tips please let me know!

C1 Savor or the WF Autograph with good income.
Also grab the Charles Schwab debit card or the Fidelity CMA (set core funds to SPAXX) for unlimited ATM reimbursement fees.
C1 savor. Cap one give you cash back on your spending categories when out of the country not all issuers do that when abroad. Also it has a smaller spend thresh hold for the sign up bonus.
