      The researchers here are grasping at too far of a conclusion relative to their data set.

      Clouds act as both coolers/reflectors of solar radiation when they’re low lying, and greenhouse trappers/warmers when they’re high-flying. Aerosols also help with density of cloud formation.

      They need to look at aerosol concentrations as a result of wind patterns, and resulting cloud types before they can say it’s just clouds and not aerosols.

    2. Clouds form as a result of more water in the atmosphere. We’ve known for decades that H2O in gas form is a potent greenhouse gas.

      When the planet is warmed by unnatural means, that shifts the balance so there’s more gaseous H2O in the atmosphere.
