It’s almost like having the Fed set interest rates to 0 was a stupid idea but felt good. Like hitting heroin.

Income inequality is very much not the Fed’s problem to solve. They have very few levers and can only work on the most macro level. The inequality problem is fiscal and political and generally the fault of Republican policy.

What BS. The issue the writer states started in ’08 when the economy received enormous stimulus. So the writer is suggesting that the banks, auto industry, etc. all collapse in ’08?

If only there was a branch of government that represented the people as delegates and could write legislation that helps develop a strong middle class and protects citizens over corporate interests. Oh well guess well have to settle for a dysfunctional legislature and an executive branch that operates in an autocratic fashion.

# The Fed admits it can’t fix an economic problem it helped create
This is a BS headline.
The GOP has a 45 year record of trying to wreck the economy so that they can cut back on social programs. That is the problem.
And the writer of that article is only a recent college grad. I’d take his “wisdom” with a large grain of salt.
