When things are not moving fast enough, how do you not just die of boredom?

I think it is quite a common problem. An entrepreneur's brain wants everything to move fast, they want things to happen now, but they are limited by people, shipping, delays etc…

In my case I recently started going into the reselling business. I buy stuff on vinted and ebay and resell it. I ordered many items and some of them arrived already. I listed them on ebay, but ebay is slow. It's been days and I still have no views on my products nor any sales. My business is stalling and ebay is probably processing my new account or something before I appear in the search results, but that wait is the worst. I want things to happen now, but they ain't happening.

I try to watch animes that I enjoy and make myself busy, but there's a limit. Honestly all I want and care about in life right now is just to have my first sale, and things are just moving so slowly, it is the worst.

How do you guys deal with that ?

I'm bored and all I want in life is do business

    1. Get into a business with less dependencies. And when growing an actual business, the saying “Haste makes waste” often applies. Try to get some fun out of fixing minor details, and you can always plan ahead in case you do make those sales.

Use your extra time to work on your business. Things like social media engagement outside of reddit which is allergic to promotional posts, content and SEO for a business website if you have one.

Don’t sit in the waiting. Use the slow parts to tighten listings, test pricing, line up the next inventory, and learn how the platform actually surfaces new sellers. Early business is mostly lag, and momentum usually shows up after you’ve stopped refreshing the page.

If you want to be an entrepreneur, say goodbye to watching anything. I haven’t watched tv in about 2 years there is always something to be doing. Even if just educating yourself is better than watching tv. Good luck

    5. The irony is that boredom usually means you’re doing things right. You’ve already done the action part, now it’s just time doing its job.

    6. I want to start a body butter business but whether it is saturated or not? Good margins. Trying to pin down a brand name Anyone interested in giving feedback here
