Introduction

After the approval of ETIP – 129 Allow users with at least 500K governance weight to customize their flairs, 2 governance milestones were added:

• 500K GW
• 1M GW

Each milestone has its own unique flair badge.

To support this change, new visual assets were needed so these milestones could be represented on the sub.

Objective

This DI requests a grant to u/OniCowboy, the Donut DAO artist who created the 2 new badges:

500K governance weight badge

These badges will be attached to user flairs. They're a visual recognition for DONUT holders who reach these milestones.

Reward

This was a task requested by the Donut DAO, as such, this DI requests 20K Donuts from the treasury as compensation for the artwork.

After approval from multisig guardians, the reward, which represents the final product, would be paid out.

Conclusion

The new badges are an important part of ETIP – 129. They give high GW users some recognition and improve the relationship between participating, holding Donuts, and r/EthTrader identity.

u/OniCowboy delivered the assets needed to make this happen, and this grant fairly recognizes that contribution.
