This has been the whole plan of the new US, Russia, China alliance. The US gets the Western hemisphere (see Venezuala, Greenland), Russia gets the EU, China gets Taiwan (and likely more). The old world order was spread the free market, the new world order is spheres of influence with national dictatorships agreeing to ignore human rights abuses and invasions in other areas with the understanding that none will interfere with the other. Each power gets its own fiefdom with vassal states

At this point, Taiwan should join China willingly. At least they could negotiate some form of autonomy. Let’s be real, when China decides to move in and conquer Taiwan, no country will come to their rescue and the political terms will be way worse.
