    1. How many millions of Americans are about to restart student loan repayments, watch their health insurance triple and find out the cost of daycare has doubled?

Making it harder for young people who are already struggling harder than anyone else in America is not going to have positive results.

The lack of creative thinking from our leaders about this (and every other) situation is a good illustration of where we are at in this country.

Turns out the president can’t just give away taxpayer money to anyone they choose.
And yes, any payment above ZERO would constitute a ‘jump’ in payments.

Technically student loan repayment is defaltionary. We’ll see what the end result of this is though.

Words for the word bot. Characters for the character throne.

What if they are planning on renting forever anyways and just dont pay? How quickly does wage garnishing kick in?

Either way, someone is definitely going to get capped over this. Like, if Mangione did it for what he did it for, someone is undoubtedly going to pop some Great Lakes servicer or something over this.

I’m lucky that I was able to put away enough over the lockdown years to clear my loans by the time payments started up. It hurt when courts ruled that students/graduates were the one of the only groups in the US that can’t really seek a modicum of forgiveness or assistance (even in bankruptcy), so I’m glad I no longer carry that burden.

But I have friends who may have over 30k still, and I don’t know how they are going to make that work on top of everything else that has multiplied in cost since 2025.

That’s trump making America great again for his rich friends and himself…

Food prices going up, helps those at the top getting the profits etc.

Drug prices going up? Duh! Helps those at the very top too, who own the companies, shareholders etc.

Farms going under? Yep, helps the big rich corporations that will buy them up for cheap and then charge us even more for the food grown on them.
