I've met a vc team last week almost by accident. ended up having a long chat, got insanely good feedback on what i’m building. now i’m stuck thinking, how do i do this again? not even pitching. just want more conversations like that. people who’ve seen hundreds of startups and can tell me what’s real vs delusion.
cold dms feel weird. demo days feel fake.
What are you doing in this case?
how do you actually meet investors?

Best investor conversations come from warm intros. Ask your happiest customers or advisors who they know. VCs trust referrals more than cold outreach.
Reach out to them cold (preferably warm if possible) and ask advice. Go to conferences where they’ll be.
Seek a check, get advice. Seek advice, get a check.
