I got a bill that is dated Dec 25th 2025, that is for a covid test apparently done in May 2021.
They are telling me I owe them $77 after my insurance paid the other $433.
Not only were there laws in California that allowed for Covid tests to be 'free' but there was a Senate Bill 510, which was retroactive and made it clear about the cost free provisions.
Why on earth am I still getting bills for regular covid-tests in 2026?!
Why has nobody sued the pants off QuickMed Diagnostics and their insanely shady billing trying to get people to give them money and acting like it was a mistake if they are questioned?
Who do I contact to complain about this? This is maybe the third time in a few years some Quickmed bill has showed up and wasted days of my life making sure if I ignore it, I'll be ok.
I'm currently on hold with my insurance company and Quickmed won't even answer their phones.
QuickMed Diagnostics is at it again
