It works until it doesn’t. The high volatility days will certainly break thru the short leg on either side and will require some hand holding to get thru it. It can generate income but it’s not stress free. Given where VIX is at right now, it’s not a good entry time IMO.

I say this all the time. There are people who trade credit spreads/ IC on the RUT for a living.
