    1. Many carriers offer nano policies. Reach out to a broker and have them shop you around. You will need something to cover the physical damage portion though. NANO only covers liability, so you would either need to take the damage waiver, or have protection through a credit card. Primary damage coverage is preferred because it keeps the claim off your personal insurance, but secondary would work in this situation.

      I’ll assume that you don’t already have regular car insurance for your day-to-day car? Anyone else driving this car that might have their own personal policy already?

      Check the rates with the rental company. It’s always the fastest most efficient way. There are some temporary rental car policies out there. I’m sure you could just Google it or ask ChatGPT. I don’t know the rates
