I just went through debit card fraud this past weekend (locked the card and all that), and got a new replacement card. The next day, I got a $0 authorization from Chipotle despite the fact that I have not bought chipotle ever. Did my card get compromised again? I’m not sure what to do here.

    1. If possible get rid of the debit card and get a credit card. It puts a firewall between your money and everyone else.

Bruh that’s sketchy af. Even if it’s just a $0 auth, Chipotle shouldn’t have your new card info at all since you never used it there. I’d call your bank ASAP and let them know – they might need to issue another replacement. Could be the scammer is testing if the new card works before going ham with purchases

    3. It’s possible that whoever obtained your stolen card added it to a digital wallet. You may need to ask your bank to invalidate all digital wallets the card has been added to.
