Personally I’ve already started to avoid anything American and I believe this would be widespread in case of actual invasion. Europe would also dump all the USD bonds, which would crash their value. Trade war would be a minimum answer if not kinetic war. NATO would be dead (which is probably why he is doing this). US arms manufacturers would lose a lot of business and F35 manufacturing would need restructuring as many parts are made in Europe. American businesses in Europe might be forced out. European investment in US would come to halt. Shipping lanes in Mediterranean would become risky for Americans as a hostile nation to European alliance that would be formed in stead of NATO. Canada would react as Europe and stop selling oil and resources.
I think it would be worth more to discuss how much permanent economic damage this threatening has already caused and will cause even if it’s just a distraction from Epstein files and Jack Smith testimony.

Europe is still buying about 20% of its gas from Russia 4 years into the war and how many sanction packages
the idea that they would just suddenly sever all US imports from cloud servers to payment processing, and from pharmaceuticals to, again, LNG is just absurd
sure, the latest weapon sales will stop and the US personnel on military bases will leave in an orderly manner (Ramstein will go, Aviano might still be negotiated for a 50 year lease or sth), which is what the US wants anyway, but other than that it will take decades to get to full “import replacement” if Europe can even get there without collapsing in internal chaos and EU fracture
I would expect Poland and the UK be the first ones to go against “anti-US” sanction packages, UK by virtue of not being accountable to Brussels and finding their own path, especially if Reform takes over, Poland due to having a real Russian threat and wanting to maintain US troops and US air defense on their territory and rather cutting off the EU

We’re now at the “let’s rationalise this madness” phase, and it is scary.
We’ll start seeing articles pop up everywhere forecasting the impact of this decision instead of focusing on what matters:
THIS IS LUNACY and may very well start WWIII (if it hasn’t started already).
I don’t care about a rational analysis of the economic consequences of Trump seizing Greenland, I do not want it to happen and every able-brained/bodied person should fight so it doesn’t happen

The world just send stern letters and say there pissed on the news , no one seems to have the balls to do anything about this shity government
