6.5% Cash back with Chase Travel, 4.5% cash back dining, 4.5% drug store and 3% cashback on everything else, with 15 months of 0 APR. This sounds like a great deal, right? The cashback goes to 15% if I spend more than 20k but I don't really spend that much in a year

Freedom Unlimited offer but with 3% cash back, worth it?

I assume this was a mailed offer? Does it come with the current signup bonus of $300 when you spend $500? If not, you’ll need to do the math.

The standard $200 for $500 or even the elevated $300 for $500, which is currently available, are better offers.

    3. I feel like I’m grossly misreading the OP; is there a SUB somewhere that kicks the CB up to an effective 15%@20k spend, or is there some kind of a conditional 15% that I’m just not understanding?

The current offer gives you $300 SUB. This offer gives you 1.5% elevated cashback on all categories, so you’d need 20k spend to reach the SUB. After you reach that you’ll get another $3k. The problem is if you don’t reach that spend you’re better of with $300 SUB with $500 spend. But I wish I could’ve gotten this offer.
