Here is a “stock challenge” I started with a couple of friends last year; looking to add more friends this year as it’s been fun.
The only rule is that you must purchase a $10 stake in a stock (or ETF/Fund) in the first week of each month.
I haven’t quite nailed down the best way to rank each person’s picks other than portfolio YTD performance.
But it’s been a blast to see everyone’s best bet for short term gains. Over time we can meaningfully compare our portfolios against other professional funds. As of yet there is no option to dump a stock (maybe every Jan you should have the option to sell/replace?).
If anyone else has knowledge of a fun and easy stock challenge like this, I’m all ears.
