I’m new to bitcoin and honestly don’t know much yet. I’ve heard a lot about it, but I’m not sure where to start. What are the most important things I should pay attention to as a beginner? Only invest in what you can lose.
Don’t follow your emotions or FOMO
Go with spots only until you have confidence or extra loose change to experiment with futures.
Learn from mistakes (yea.. Give yourself plenty of room to make those really quick)
Don’t follow rumors or hearsay and always DYOR

Never leave your Bitcoin on an exchange. Withdraw to your own wallet every time you hit about 0.01 BTC on the exchange.
A good wallet for iOS/Android is BlueWallet. For larger amounts, you should eventually get a [hardware wallet](https://trezor.io/).
Learn about hashing, proof-of-work, elliptic curve cryptography and public/private keys.
