Fiancee just got a SUB offer for 5 free nights for the Bonvoy Boundless card. I've done zero research on Marriott cards. Is this a good one? Is there a better one? Worth getting for sub at least?
Also, what if the room I want is more than 50k/night? Can I pay the difference in cash or other points or am I truly limited to rooms under 50k to even use the credits?

This is the best SUB on the card. You can supplement the FNA with up to 15k points per night, so essentially up to 65k.
The 5FNC from marriott is the best you will get from them.
We used it for a 5 night stay in Waikiki marriott + $400 tax. It’d have cost us well over 4k just for that hotel.
ssues to keep in mind.
1 certificate expires in 1 year.
2 50k is each night. If you book 35k night, you dont get 15k back. You cant book more than 5 nights and hope to use 250k that way.
3 you can top off each certificate with 15k more miles per night and book 65k night rooms.
4 if you want a higher end hotel that is more than 65k night, you can’t use these certs.
