So im currently in my sophomore year of college and I took out two loans sub at the moment from FAFSA that total to $5,300 (least from them) which comes to $8,000 from the CRI which is my loan borrower. So the thing us is that im legally disabled because of my autism diagnosis which gave me access to disability services and they offered me nearly 20k in financial aid which is amazing. Ive just kept my loans so I could pay off my freshman year and get a meal plan but I can always get food anywhere else or from home (I dont live on campus) Im not a good cook or prepy but it would be better than me trying to pay off 13-18k in loans especially in this state where the American economy is in shambles. So now what?
Should I cancel my student loans

“I’m not a good cook” …. You can learn to cook for free… on the internet… which you’re currently posting on… Please. Before you do anything with your loans, learn to take hold of the reigns of your life. You have to teach yourself, you have to take the initiative. Don’t be 35 and still saying “well no one taught me”.
But to answer your question, yes. If you have the ability to obviate your loans your should definitely take it.
