Wow only if anyone would have warned them that this guy getting a second turn as president would be one of the most disastrous events in this country’s history.

>By 15 percentage points, more voters rate the economy as weak rather than strong, a deterioration from July, when negative views predominated by 4 points. About half of voters say the economy has gotten worse in the past year, compared with 35% who see improvement. That finding continues a yearslong disconnect between traditional measures of inflation and economic growth, which are relatively positive, and a negative public outlook.
I mean, they’re not wrong, but probably should have included the lagging jobs figures in that summary.

They should be grateful because everyone going to be rich with all money from terrifs! I can’t wait to buy a new lift kit for my Truck! A: If Terri’s bring in more money then we get rich. B:other countries that take our money for FREE, won’t do that anymore because we have Terriffs! C: the money can go to ICE to protect the border and then pay off the Debt with money from TERRIFFS!

Still 40-44% approval rate. Enough to get him re-elected again if he runs for the third term.
Trump is a problem but Americans are the root cause.

This doesn’t ask if respondents blame Trump for the poor economy. They were just asked what their feelings on the economy were.
It also doesn’t ask how respondents feel Trump is handling the economy.
Mark my words, am overwhelming amount of people saying the economy is bad would say a) its not trumps fault b) he’s going a good job fixing it.

Saw a report tonight on CNN. They interviewed a farmer and small toy store owner who both voted for MAGA, I think from South Georgia.
Both were moaning about the economy and that trump needed to do something.
Left with distinct impression they would still vote for him or someone similar. Point is, economics is not the main reason these people vote for trump/maga. Anyone want to guess what reason is? Rhetorical.

Let’s pretend for a second that this is spillage from Biden’s era and it was really his fault. What has Trump done to improve things? His biggest economic policy was to impose tariffs on every country we trade with. How does that in theory and reality make prices cheaper?
He talks and acts exactly like the guy who bankrupts casinos. Would you take economic or financial advice from someone like him?

Why? Why aren’t they happy?
Everyone knew what Trumpy was going to do.
Screw the Poors and Middle Class and help the wealthy.
Republicans and MAGAs absolutely knew this was going to happen. Period.
