My dad tried to send a small amount of bitcoin using his trezor wallet to my binance account via my bitcoin deposit address, about 20 dollars, and it said it was suppose to take almost 30 min and he decided to cancel it fearing the transaction might fail, is this normal?

at around 3 sats a vbyte or 33 pennies should get confirmed in about 10 minutes on average . How many sats a vbyte did he pay ?
