Interesting Thank you Mastercard Offers DP – Feb 2026

It’s the beginning of the month and with it I got two interesting limited offers that might warrant discussion.

– 8% Back on home improvement (to a maximum total of 100 dollars until 4/30, Minimum of 1K)

– 1500 Thank You points on each eligible purchase of $750 dollars or more (to a total of 3000 Thank You points until 2/28)

For the first, I remember being told electronic stores such as Best Buy code as “Home improvement” and not retail, is this correct? If that’s the case, this offer is fairly rare and potentially lucrative on high ticket items like computer parts.

And two, this is actually the first offer I’ve received in the form of “thank you points.” The amount isn’t too high, but it sets an interesting precedent for the future.

Anyone else have anything similar?
