My bf and I are getting married this weekend and that will mean he will get BAH. However, his contract ends in August and he is probably leaving active duty. He is not sure what to do about getting a furnished or unfurnished place for 5/6 months and it also means if he leaves he can't break his lease. What are his options?

Unless he already has his separation orders before signing the lease, he will be able to use them to break his lease with no penalty when he separates.
The cheapest thing to do would probably be to look for a small (studio) apartment. There are a lot of Airbnb type rentals in Beaufort, so he could also see if he could find one of those with a long term discount, but that might be very expensive during the main tourist season.
Once he leaves Active Duty, he will get separation orders. These can be used to break a lease under the SCRA.
Alternatively, have you considered living on base?
