Has anyone done the math recently on the Charmin "Forever Roll"? Is it any cheaper per unit than, say, the nicer Aldi or other store brand toilet paper? It's been marketed as a frugal option, but my instinct is that it's still more expensive.
I searched the sub for posts on this but couldn't find any less than 7 years old. And a lot happened in the uh toilet paper economy between now and then! Remember trying to buy toilet paper in March 2020?
Anyway, thanks!

PS, I PROMISE I’m not trying to buzz market Charmin or anything! I despise all brands!

I don’t know about the forever roll, but the mega XXL rolls were much thinner and used faster in my house per roll compared to the ones in the bulk pack Costco. So my guess is it’s not worth it.
I got a bidet at the start of the pandemic
It has saved me money, though I have not calculated how much
A plumber told me never to use Charmin, especially if you have a septic tank. He said it breaks down so slowly, that it clogs drains.
I love Aldi TP. It lasts longer for me, and is better than the cheaper Angel Soft of other store brands.
