Hey guys,
I've been out of the stockmarket for a while now.
But after I watched the recent "crash" in many stocks, I'm thinking about buying again.
I just don't know, what is really good right now and if buying now is a good idea at all…
Just looking for some advice 🙂
What is a good strategy now, after the market came down a bit?

Buy broad index funds and never sell. That’s it. There wasn’t even a crash.
crash?
S&P 500 is <2% below the ATH.
I’ll give the same advice everyone gives that will always ring true. Time in the market beats timing the market. No one knows if this “drop” is the bottom. So buy consistently, diversify, and think long term.
And you missed it …
You can’t time these one-day dips.
S&P500 and chill. Just keep pumping more in month in month out
Just buy veqt/ xeqt and hold long term! 🙂 (if youre in Canada, otherwise find the US equivalent to it like VT or VTI)
There’s like, what, nine new threads proclaiming a “sell-off” or a “crash”? I know folks are just *dying* to hang economic turmoil around the current administration‘s neck, but can we at least not be irrational? There’s been no crash, and there’s been no sell-off.

Your investment strategy is like building a boat. Just focus on building it appropriate to the voyage you’re taking. Don’t get fixated one one wave versus another.
IMO there’s never a bad time to invest, it’s just a question of what you’re investing in, and how those investments serve your financial goals.
Panic sell and buy back in at the next ATH.
