I don’t want to pay more than $100 for good traction shoes mdr for court sports: squash, raquette ball, Pickleball. But I do want good arch support, traction, ankle stability. I’m guessing the Nikes, Reboks, Addidas are out of the question, unless some can suggest a clearance site. I am not interested in used stuff such as as one might find in a goodwill store. Also best if most of the sole/heel has that raw gum colored look to it.

Any tips on inexpensive court shoes

If you’re trying to stay under $100, I’d look at last season’s models instead of the newest release. A lot of court shoes drop pretty fast in price once the updated version comes out, even from the bigger brands. Outlet stores can be hit or miss, but sometimes they have older indoor court styles way cheaper.

For traction, just make sure they’re actually labeled for indoor court sports and have that non marking gum sole. Running shoes usually won’t cut it for lateral movement. You might also check volleyball shoes since they’re built for quick side to side movement and decent ankle support, and they sometimes run cheaper.

I’ve had better luck focusing on fit and stability first, then adding an insole for arch support if needed. Way cheaper than trying to find the perfect shoe that does everything out of the box.
