For context, about 2 months ago I was involved in a small accident, nobody hurt. We filed claimed on both sides. I mailed a copy of the FR-10 form I got AND sent pictures of it to my insurance (geico) within the 15 day window
Skip to yesterday and we get a letter in the mail saying that there’s a suspended license. Now here’s the thing I’m confused about, I’m 19 so I share insurance with my mom, she’s the one who controls it. The letter was addressed to her and I didn’t see my name anywhere at all regarding my license, but my mom doesn’t really drive much anymore. But no where on the letter that I saw had my name, even though I’m insured under her .
I’m just nervous something went wrong, I own my car, would the letter be addressed in MY name letting me know my license was suspended? Or is it a game of “figure it out”. I know it sounds stupid but I think I did everything right legally.

Edit: for more context this was my first accident, my mom has had many in the past and more problems than I did, this was my first time filing a claim/getting into an accident on her insurance

Not sure if my license is suspended, help?

Seems likely she didnt actually put you on the policy.
You need to get this handled now though. Call the insurance and make sure they filed the FR10.

SC is brutal with this stuff so good luck
