Lesya Orobets, former Ukrainian MP and CEO of Price of Freedom, joins TVP World Talks to discuss the latest Ukraine–Russia–U.S. negotiations in Geneva and why she expects little progress.

EU has not, and apparently will not ask to take over the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, just like the EU never initiated negotiations for 4 years. Why?
What have we learned from this woman that we haven’t already heard for at least the past year? Absolutely nothing.
We already know the death and destruction caused by Russia, and we also know Ukraine fired drones and missiles that hit Russian energy sectors as well. The fact that Russia attacks are more debilitating isn’t an argument, but a reality that Ukraine man for man, dollar for dollar can’t defeat Russia.
This woman, as with Zelenskyy’s team need to accept that France, Germany, and the UK will not send their troops to fight on the frontlines against Russia. Knowing this fact, Ukraine do not have the cards to negotiate.
The last 15% of Donetsk Russia demand that Ukrainian troops withdraw from is a dire warning. It is inevitable that Russia will have 100% of Donetsk and Donbass either by negotiation or by force. 11:52 This woman needs to ask herself, “is sacrificing 10k, 20k, 50k more men to keep the last area of Donetsk worth it?”.
This issue with Ukraine, they value land more than people. And that’s one reason why Zelenskyy Govt is collapsing. The people see it. Russia is battling for the people, not land. We saw this with Minsk I and II, with Istanbul, and again with Astana agreements. It’s about protecting the Pro-Russian Ukrainians and their right of self determination.
The longer the war, the more Ukraine loses.
