Is buying a real estate a good investment in colombia

I saw an opportunity in clombia because of the climate, water richness, it is cheap. Also, when you look at the reports, you see the crime rate is slowly falling down. My exact aim in colombia is buying a land that is close to the ocean or by the ocean in Cartagena. I live in Turkey, Fethiye (Gocek) and I run hotels in there so I’m planning to buy a land that I can build a resort hotel later or just to sell and make some profit for it in long term (about 10-15 years). But people don’t see Colombia as a good place for investment and I can’t figure it out. I’m very pleased if you share your opinions about this investment and inform me.
