$31 is not enough to beat a Netflix deal. Most likely, Netflix will match it.

My netflix calls are begging for paramount to win and pay them that sweet 2.8 billion fee. Easy money for netflix.

    2. Hope they don’t match and take the breakup fee while their competitor sinks with the weight of this new anvil.

Let them have it… this company was worth a quarter as much on it’s own.

      $90B will buy you a lotta content…

    4. Netflix should let them have it, then in a few years turn around and buy them out for cheaper.

make the breakup fee $15 billion because the eu won’t approve it even though this administration will approve it, then we can all lol at the Ellisons.

    6. Netflix’s management should take a very close look at the stock price and understand that the shareholders strongly disagree with them about buying WB.

    7. I would love to see NFLX say “on second thought , we don’t want it. You get to overpay for the mediocre, ellisons.” NFLX would see a 10% pop tomorrow

Paramount is like the little brother that also wants what older bro Netflix is buying. Annoying and willing pay more.

    9. surely this bidding war is far beyond what a rational person would bid, right? just duck out, LMAO. and, like other commenters have said, just buy the distressed pieces in a couple years…

Netflix is just driving up the price. David will pay nearly anything to turn CNN into the Conservative New Network.

    11. It would be great to see NFLX walk and get a 3bil payment. They have enough cash to create whatever they want

    12. If you think WBD shareholders are morons, you really have not paying attention. This whole P+ saga is nothing more than a ploy to suck money out of Netflix. Not a dime more Netflix, take the breakup fee and run.
