used to buy all my basics at old navy but feels like quality has gotten way worse over the years.

shirts used to last a year or two. now they're falling apart after a few washes. pilling, shrinking, seams coming undone.

prices have gone up too. $15-20 for a basic tee that used to be $8-10. so worse quality AND more expensive.

am i imagining this or has old navy quality actually declined? should i shop somewhere else for cheap basics?

old navy quality gone downhill or just me?

    1. I’ve never ever thought that old navy had quality anything. My parents would buy me stuff there in 04-08 and they all fell apart back then too. There’s so many better options im actually surprised you’re CHOOSING old navy lol

    2. Old Navy has always been cheap, but poor quality. I would get clothes there as a kid, but never as an adult.

For what you pay there, you might as well spend some time browsing thrift stores. Prices have crept up there, too, but at least there are some really nice pieces mixed in for $5-10 than the garbage sold as “new” at certain retailers.
