I sold some crypto last year (yeah I know never sell) and when I was going to file my taxes I went to use h and r block it wanted me to pay 50 bucks for a 3rd party service (plus more for their service) before I even got to the point of knowing what I owed. I checked out turbo tax and that was going to cost about 150 total to just file. I'm typically able to file for free. Any tips?

I’ve used Free Tax USA for the last few years and love it. You still have to pay to file state taxes through it, but it’s better than other services I’ve used. I think it’s around $20 or something like that, definitely under $50.
