Someone hit my car from behind while in traffic in a highway. When I tried to pull over and get their information, they fled from there. I don't have any details on them. I filed police report and started my claim with my insurance. It's Progressive Insurance. I am not sure how it works out. Any information or advice?

If you have collision and/or uninsured motorist property damage coverage, the loss will be covered by progressive. Not much else to say.
That’s it. If you got collision coverage, Progressive will tell you to go one of their networked shops, get your car fixed, pay your deductible, and go on with life.
They’ll get a copy of the police report and they’ll figure out if they can get anything back from the other car.
