I want to know from experienced business owners how long you stay on one idea before pivoting to the next.
I saw someone in another subreddit say that they execute an idea for a week, and if they dont get X amount of users by a certain point then they pivot and move to the next idea (for reference this person is in the tech space).
I need to learn how to execute without emotion and just keep executing instead of thinking for months on how to go about a certain business, so tell me how you guys think of something, and what your plan is for however long before deciding to throw your current idea away.
I am mainly looking asking for advice in terms of the tech space since I want to make a tech startup, but at the same time I am open to any advice.
To all the experienced business owners out there, tell me your execution strategy.

Dont think it as pivoting to next idea at X users. Start building and create value in it so that any next person would be interested to buy.
I mean if its worth it for someone, its product for some one
