I'm in Europe and we pay once a year and it's around $300 but I saw a comment on Reddit someone in USA pays that MONTHLY is this true ?
Is it common to pay around $300 monthly for car insurance in US ?

It’s highly variable depending on the individual driver’s age, gender, credit score, driving history and home address location, among other factors. But there are definitely people paying that amount.
Depends on where you live, the vehicles you have, and your driving history, but $100-200 a month for full coverage is pretty normal.
Insurance rates are drastically different depending on age, location, driving record and company and way of payment (month to month, 6 month or 1yr) I refuse to pay over $150 a month as I’ve never had a claim in 20 years of driving. I pay for my policy yearly and it works out to $128 a month. Full coverage on a new car.
That’s on the high end for sure, but nothing insane. Car insurance in the US works quite differently because it also acts as a pseudo health insurance coverage too since our healthcare system is so broken.
