Comparing large amounts (with five figures), I have observed that bundled pricing may appear drastically cheaper on the surface.

As an example, I have observed the coordination services such as HealthHop that combine several costs within a single quote. On paper it appears much cheaper than buying them individually.

But I am attempting to do this the penny-pinching fashion–merely not to go after the lowest figure.

With big-ticket expenses in general, how would you assess:

    – Is bundled pricing really saving money?

    – Hidden or downstream costs?

    – Risk vs. savings tradeoffs?

I am not seeking medical adviceI am also wondering how other economically minded individuals pressure-test big financial moves before they take the plunge.

What do you do to review big bundles of costs to ensure that they are indeed cheep?
