Grad Plus Loan

I wasn't sure what else to tag this and I have been doing a lot of research and looking in here but I'm still a little confused.
I applied for a plus loan today and it was approved per FAFSA but I'm waiting on my schools financial aid to confirm/complete it.
I did talk to the financial aid office and did all the required forms as well.
I know that for new borrowers as of July 1, 2026 it is no longer available.
I requested the term to be from May of 2026-Novemeber of 2026 because I graduate in November after my clinical internship (the second week of Nov I will be done).
I attend an online university so I have 3 quarters between that time, with a quarter ending at the beginning of May, and the other starting at the end of May.
Since I applied and if I accept it before May of 2026 would I be grandfathered in since my term starts in May?
I did a ton of research as I am at the end of my program and in the final stretch, I guess I'm just confused on whether or not I would still get funding for August-Nov as I would be focusing on doing my practicum full time.
