Are there any refinancers that will approve me with 1 90 day late payment from August of 2025? I missed the very first nelnet payment after my deferment and called the and they can’t get it removed from my credit. I have 25k in federal and about 70k in private that I cannot keep up with the payments on. Any advice would help a ton.
I make 40k a year. Looking for a better job currently. My original loan was not nearly this much, but going back to school every other year since 2018 let the interest really pile up. Sallie Mae payments are 1500 a month. My credit score is 565.
