So I bank with a regional credit union in Ohio and every time I try to use my Mastercard debit card on Coinbase, the transaction gets declined instantly.
I called the credit union three times.
First rep said she didn't even know what Coinbase was.
Second rep said they don't block any merchants.
Third rep finally admitted they have a blanket policy against "cryptocurrency-related merchants" and there's no way to override it even if I authorize it.
I've been on Coinbase since 2021 and never had this issue with well fargo account. I have about $1,200 I want to put into BTC and SOL.
Do I really have to open another bank account just to buy crypto? There has to be a better way.
Anyone using a credit union A/C for crypto. Mine keeps blocking every purchase on Coinbase.
