Bought high sold low and now holding whole portfolio on IAU which is going down crazy!!

Oof, that hurts. Been there.
Not advice, but if you are feeling stuck, it can help to zoom out and write a simple “why did I enter, what would make me exit” plan, even if it is just on paper. Most of the pain comes from not having rules before the trade.
If you are into learning the behavioral side (how narratives + FOMO drive decisions, basically marketing but for markets), there are a couple quick reads I have saved here, https://blog.promarkia.com/ might be useful.

man, that’s rough. i feel you… it’s tough to watch the portfolio drop, especially in something like IAU. with all this news about the missile hitting near the Bushehr plant, it’s got to be shaking things up in the gold market too. just gotta ride it out and hope for a bounce back, i guess. any plans to diversify a bit?

This is less than 4 years of write offs…… you have literally nothing to worry about as long as you’re employed and can afford food and shelter
