Building a crypto journal for DeFi/altcoin traders who actually use leverage — private beta

I've been quietly building NexCandle — a trading journal built for how crypto is actually traded in 2025. Private beta, not open for signups yet, but wanted to share it here.

The gap

ETH traders, altcoin traders, DeFi degens — we all trade differently than stock traders. Multiple assets, leverage, high fees, fast-moving positions. Existing journaling tools either don't support leverage at all or bolt it on as an afterthought. Your P&L ends up wrong because fees aren't accounted for, or your R:R looks fine on paper but doesn't reflect your actual position size.

NexCandle fixes that at the foundation.

What's in it right now

• Full leverage support — log spot and leveraged positions correctly; position value in USD, leverage tracked per trade
• Accurate P&L — fees logged in USD with presets for the major exchanges, deducted automatically
• Real R:R — based on actual dollar exposure, not just price distance
• Live price on entry — auto-fetches current price with one-click refresh
• AI pre-trade insight — surfaces relevant data from your own history before you log
• Custom strategies — define your setups, track which ones actually work
• Similar trades widget — your past win rate on the same asset + direction, shown before you submit
• Stats & Insights — P&L charts, win rate, performance over time
• CSV import — bulk import from Binance, Bybit, OKX, etc.
• Alerts, screenshot upload, trade tags, daily check-in, Telegram notifications
