1 week follow up from my YOLO/DD post here. Probably the worst possible timing on that post lol
I just wanted to update that I sold half my shares..
SO I COULD BUY CALLS.
I didn't have any more money to double down at the lows this week, so this is the only way to go more in than all in.
I want to see this through, but if the thesis dies, I will have to bail. Not financial advice. Please don't take financial advice from me.

You must absolutely fucking hate money
Wondering why?
tbh? Hell yeah
Stay calm!
A week or so ago someone asked what stock they should put in their entire basket of eggs in and I jokingly said CALM after Googling the biggest publicly traded eggs company.
I’d never thought someone would do actually do it.
Maybe switch to free roaming free VITL$
I dont hate it and i wish you luck.. but down 8% since you posted that last week 😭😭
Love this but am confused – do they have reserve egg inventory they can gouge people for? Sounds like they will potentially take a big loss on their production capacity this year.
I may put like $5 in CALM just to be part of the fun.
what’s your timeline on this trade – when do you expect to hit your targets
I hope you know how to make biggie bags
Commodity egg prices have increased from 1.11 USD to 1.51 USD in a week. While that is three times more than at the end of February when prices reached 0.37 USD, prices are still fairly low. Maybe we will see a trend reversal due to low egg prices in late 2026 and the delayed response.

“US egg prices slipped back toward $0.5 per dozen after rebounding from multi-year lows, as a severe oversupply from aggressive flock restocking and a surge in imports collided with a contraction in consumer demand.
Following avian flu outbreaks in 2024 and 2025 that decimated 70 million hens, producers overcompensated by expanding layer inventories to 309 million by January.
This glut was magnified by the administration’s decision to increase egg imports to 122.5 million dozen in 2025, four times the previous year’s volume, to combat grocery inflation.
Demand-side pressure persists as consumers who pivoted to alternatives during the $6 price peak last March have yet to fully resume historical buying patterns.
While a new February outbreak in Pennsylvania affecting 7 million birds threatens a supply reversal, the market remains anchored by this massive inventory overhang.”

Im loving this one. Literally put your eggs into one basket lmao
Haha no shit I was JUST looking at this ticker and bam this post. Been a bad few days brother but the play is intriguing nonetheless. Volatility low for calls too (even though liquidity sucks).
Edit: you just barreled into calls all on the same day? No DCA even? Lmao
I would be sweating too …
Disclaimer: I‘m a regard who haven’t made any money from stocks yet. But I hope your calls are not short-dated cuz my tea leafs are saying that you have another drop coming.

Fuck yeah, make sure to lose that money as fast as you can.
This is exactly the type of stuff I come here for, thanks. I read all it and did some averaged out quick DD.
With 5 year average earnings it would give the current price a P/E of about 10.
The company is excellently managed and apparently vertically integrated and has done better than the rest for 30 years straight. Their product is freaking eggs, not iphones. A commodity.
Yet, why hasn’t a competitor come up and eaten their profits? The competitors had 30 years if it was so easy..
Not buying at this price, but would instantly load up at $40 per share if the market shits itself or the business cyclicals turn for a year.
Very interesting and I am really rooting for that trade! God speed!
What website are you using to track to HPAI case count? Here’s a good article from today: [https://www.brownfieldagnews.com/news/usda-current-hpai-outbreak-has-impacted-more-than-197-million-birds/](https://www.brownfieldagnews.com/news/usda-current-hpai-outbreak-has-impacted-more-than-197-million-birds/)
You calm a lot
Buying CALM in this culture climate and administration is so silly
