Not trying to fear monger or get political.
But does anyone do their planning for the eventual reduction if not eradication of pensions, SS, or VA disability?

Maybe this is more of a post about mental attitude/health than hard numbers. But I see veterans who are so confident in these existing that they full spend their monthly post service income, and are quite happy and care free tot do so.
As where for me, I would be experiencing tremendous stress. And am always looking to the yet unforeseen curve ball from life – over the next hill or even years down the road.

I know we can only plan for so much failure, and you can’t live your life if you back yourself into such a tight savings position that you are denying yourself reasonable breathing room.

I dunno, just looking for thoughts and advice on how to manage that.
